DVCA Executive

He's a Life Member at Montmorency, currently sits on both the DVCA Senior and Junior Executive Committees, and is an accredited DVCA umpire.

His playing experience spans many competitions, across West Gippsland, VTCA, Eastern Cricket, and the last 18 years in DVCA.
Since retiring from playing cricket, John has taken on a role as an umpire within the DVCA.
Outside of cricket, John ran his own small business for 40 years until selling it in 2020, and now spends his time running a commercial consulting business on a part time basis.
John is married with 3 children - unfortunately none of whom shares his passion for the game!

During this time, John has seen the DVCA expand from 12 to 30 teams and introduce the innovations of Milo in2Cricket (now Woolworths Blast), a huge expansion of Women and Girl's Cricket, Vets and T20 cricket - all of which support giving as many people a game of cricket as possible.
John is in 4th year on the DVCA Executive and enjoys helping 4000+ people get a game of cricket in our community.
